THE STORY OF ORIGIN !
in the lenses of Clarion Minuet ReverieTW // Mentions of death, murder, and bloodThe princess stripped off of her title and family multiple times: it was the identity she was supposed to live with for all of her years but the memories were suppressed to give way to the terrors that the world has in store for her.Clarion Minuet resided in the Hyakuya Orphanage for as long as she could remember. She arrived there with her older brother but unlike him who fit in right away, she took her time in settling in. She was shy and anxious of everyone for reasons she couldn't interpret. Images of her past were hazy and blurred no matter how hard she tried to remember them one by one.Minuet was told of her names and date and place of birth by the head caregiver, telling her that she gained this information from the person who placed her and her brother under the orphanage's care. She didn't mind the lack of information as she didn't want help from other people to solve the images that cloud her dreams every night. She just needed to settle into the life she was thrown in.She wasn't given much time to warm up to her new environment when the world was thrown into chaos: most of humans worldwide, with ages 18 years and above, passed away in a blink of an eye. The children were about to escape from the confines of the orphanage when vampires came to their stead and offered them protection in exchange of their blood, a deal most kids agreed upon in fear that they are to share the same fate as adults did.Minuet was taken into a place named The Sanguinem and she lived there for the next few years to come. Following the deal they made before, she gave up her blood to vampires alongside other children. However, the suffocating environment was taking the life away from her and she started complaining about the life she was forced onto. Her complaints didn't last long as her older brother took her and the rest of the orphan children to escape from the hellhole.The journey to the world outside of the Sanguinem was almost a success until Minuet had to live through the murder of her family as the noble vampire who found them escaping slayed them in front of her. She was stuck in her place until her older brother yelled at her to run away for their sake, for his sake, as he didn't want his efforts to be in vain. With a heavy heart, Minuet ran towards the world that the vampires kept away from her and found herself seeing the color blue for the very first time in years.There in the outside world did she meet the lieutenant who told her that she was the chosen one as prophesized by a seer. There did she make her biggest decision yet—to join the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and slay the vampires who took everything from her, avenge their deaths. That is exactly what she is going to do from that point on and no one, not even a mortal, can stand in her way.
